LEACH

The eldest son of Bernard Leach, David Leach was born in Tokyo, he began his apprenticeship under his father at The Leach Pottery in St Ives in 1930. In 1955 David Leach set up Lowerdown Pottery in Bovey Tracey, Devon. His sons John, Jeremy and Simon continue the leach pottery legacy to this day.
